Music Actually Worth Your Money. (John Graham)

Mirror Music by John Graham is a excellent example of music actually worth your money. The rhymes beats and concepts expressed through this album are much needed in a time of constant apathy and creative vacancy. And after checking out Mr. Graham's other albums released on BandCamp it's obvious he will be around for a long time. Don't hesitate to pick this album up or download it, remember Bandcamp can deliver it to you in multiple formats including lossless formats.

Music Actually Worth Your Money. (Retrospek)

BoomBap & Beyond by Retrospek is their second EP release on bandcamp. I first heard Retrospek's SOMESHYTWEDID and was pleased with their skills on that EP. Now they have released BoomBap & Beyond and its better than the first. The production is handled by Rah Intelligence and is as dope as ever. Retrospek is a group whose sound you need to get acquainted with. When they release an album that isn't free I'm sure it will be worth your money. But for now go to their BandCamp page and download this and their previous EP.

Music Actually Worth Your Money. (KRS-One & Marley Marl)

HipHop Lives by KRS-One and Marley Marl is an album that had to happen in wake of Nas' claim that HipHop is dead. The release of this album, with out a doubt, proves that HipHop is not dead. KRS and Marley form a dynamic team in the studio and the quality of production by Marley Marl mesh well with KRS' rhyme style. Don't hesitate to pick this one up you won't be disappointed.

Music Actually Worth Your Money. (Sean Price)

Jesus Price Supastar by Sean Price is one of this years best picks for HipHop guaranteed to keep your interest and please your ears. With Sean's rhymes laid over beats mostly produced by Justus League members such 9th Wonder and Khrysis, Jesus Price Supastar will not disappoint you at all. Yet another great album truly worth your money.

Music Actually Worth Your Money. (Curtis Mayfield)

The Very Best of Curtis Mayfield compiled by Rhino is a good collection of songs performed by one of the 70's Musical greats, Curtis Mayfield. Featuring sixteen of his most famous songs, this CD is certainly close to being the very best of his work. Of course depending on how much you've heard from Mayfield before listening to this CD and your personal favorites your opinion may differ but essentially this is a great starter compilation for those interested in Curtis Mayfield or the sound of his era.

Music Actually Worth Your Money. (D'Angelo)

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo is an album I have been listening to since it came out in 1995. D'angelo's voice and the melody of the tracks blend perfectly and reflect the skill and attention put into creating this album. The genre of Neo-Soul was greatly enriched with the addition of D'Angelo and has continued to grow with time. If you like artists who can really sing, D'Angelo should be your next choice.
